Serving Child Care Homes and Centers in Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, Henderson, Knox, McDonough and Warren Counties.  Building strong connections between the child health experts and the child care providers to support healthy child care environments and ultimately healthy outcomes for children in child care.  The Child Care Nurse Consultant promotes quality child care in the community by providing child care staff training, technical assistance with health and safety issues, assessing the health and safety practices of child care staff in centers and home, assisting in the development of health and safety policies and procedures, consulting with parents, referring parents and child care providers to appropriate resources.
