NEST Prenatal Care Program

WIC participants are invited to participate in Project Nest, a partner program that involves prenatal education and incentives. Nest is operated by volunteers from the Junior Board of Rock Island. M others who participate in Nest receive points for completing regular medical care and education. Mothers also may attend classes to receive information about topics relevant to prenatal care and early childhood. Participation points are exchanged for baby merchandise certificates.

Nest classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM and also from 10:00-11:00 AM on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in the education room at the Rock Island County Health Department at 2112-25th Ave in Rock Island.

Mothers interested in participating in the Nest program may sign up on site at any Nest class. If you would like to learn more about the Nest program, visit their website at or email or call Alli Haskill, Nest Chair, at or 309-235-8786.
